Les Hirondelles is located in the village of Paunat, in the 'Périgord Noir', approximately in the middle of the triangle formed by the towns of Bergerac, Périgueux and Sarlat-la-Caneda. The house was built in 1901 by a lumberjack and is surrounded by a beautiful plot of land of 1,900 m2. The heated swimming pool of 10 meters by 5 meters is the icing on the cake and provides refreshment in the warm summer months and a pleasant dip in spring and autumn.
The authenticity of the house, with its white exterior walls and red shutters, has been preserved, but the interior design has been adapted to today's needs and requirements, where people appreciate light and space. In the winter of 2014-15, the house was thoroughly renovated and redecorated inside, after the roof had been replaced the year before and the patio was significantly enlarged so that it has now become a fully-fledged covered terrace, with a fireplace that provides cozy warmth. when it cools down in the evening.
Les Hirondelles has four bedrooms and can comfortably sleep eight people. The garden is large and features an exceptional 40' by 20' swimming pool.
The House is situated in the ancient village of Paunat, in the heart of the Perigord region. Perigord is popular with holiday makers as it offers a diverse range of activities for all age groups. The area will appeal whether you want to enjoy peaceful relaxation, or get soaking wet canoeing down the River Dordogne!
