We Ruby and Bob (known from the program Ik Vertrek ;) left our lives in the Netherlands behind us in 2015 and moved to France to take over a restaurant. Now after 8 years it is time for us for a new challenge somewhere else in France.
We offer our completely renovated and successful restaurant for sale. The entire company + apartment is for sale for a total of € 295,000 (i.e. € 95,000 goodwill and property € 200,000) but due to the current difficult situation with regard to the financial possibilities for possible buyers, we are also open to first settle the fund de commerce selling in a hire purchase contract recorded by the notary; This means first purchasing the fund (€95,000) and renting the entire building and apartment for €1500 per month excluding charges and the walls in 3/6/9 years. We live in the village of Riscle De Gers in the Midi Pyrenees. There are many companies around us that come to us for lunch every day and we have therefore been able to build up a regular circle of guests of approximately 40 guests per lunch every day (the two of us). The guests arrive between 12 noon and 2 pm. Then we clean up and our work is done!
Our opening hours at the moment are from Tuesday to Friday afternoon lunch and only Friday and Saturday evenings so there are certainly more options to change your working hours. But we have made the choice to have more time with our children and to enjoy life and we can make ends meet with this as a family of 4. I therefore think that the freedom this entails cannot be imagined or compared if you were to run a restaurant in the Netherlands as a married couple.
Ofcourse , we have all the correct paperwork and we have a French accountant. Everything is there, from the annual figures to the licenses and technical report.
